things had been rough since losing their little baby but they had kept it together. it had mostly been zach who had cleaned out the baby room they had made. cause he saw the shape marina had been in and he didn’t want to make it worse for her. and he had kept going to work everyday to keep things going, to keep their normal life rolling. but some things had come back to haunt him. when she told him she was pregnant, he had dropped the coke because it was the responsible thing to do. but now he had no baby to take care of so why did it matter? “i’m home.” the male said as he walked through the door and hung up his jacket. he was late home from work and his sluggish demeanor sure wasn’t because of work. zach hadn’t told her about picking back his old habit, knowing that she probably wouldn’t like it.

Natalya isn’t really a party person. She’s always been ostracized since she was a teen. The girl who spoke to things that weren’t there. Still, she can enjoy a drink every once in a while, though maybe she’s gone a bit too far this time. It’s not that she is slurring her words or anything, but this guy has been trying to get her to come upstairs for several minutes now, and she doesn’t know how many ways she can gently decline since she’s definitely in an intoxicated state. “I’m sorry, I just really would not like to, but thank you.” The female states again, wrapping her arms around herself. She’s casting looks around the room, trying to lock eyes with someone. He won’t go away.

      truthfully: she had him fucked up. yeah, he was here with someone else, but she wasn't supposed to be here with anyone. damian didn't care how long it had been ( three hundred and seventy-nine days, exactly ), he knew that she was meant for him. he could be with someone and not be attached. marina? she was different. feelings meant a lot to her. so the fact that she was draped on another man's arm meant something to her. he caught her eye, and even though she looked away, he didn't. he didn't even care that her date was staring him down 'cause the dirty blond knew what it was. marina did too –– which is why she escorted him in the other direction. it wasn't until later on when the party was filled and sweaty that he grabbed her and pulled her into the nearest corner. ❝ you need to leave. ❞ he closes his eyes and backtracks. ❝ actually, if you don't leave i'm going to kick your boyfriends ass. ❞

      the anger was evident on his face. he was trying his hardest to count to ten to calm himself down in his head but the moment her next phrase slips from her lips, he's in overdrive. ❝ oh i don't understand? ❞ he states, voice a little louder than a shout. ❝ okay so help me fucking understand then, marina. please. i'm just dying to know. ❞ he shoots up from his seat on her couch to move over to her. ❝ tell me why he told me that. tell me why your ex is texting you at three –– four in the morning as if you're not laying next to me!
