maybe they are taking the whole , no tardiness rule a little literally. but there’s still glorious satisfaction in the feeling erin gets when she looks at the time as they run up to the party. ❝it’s 6:59! we made it , anna!❞ erin cheers through labored breaths , releasing her friend’s hand. she’d needed it to keep up. silver heels tumble from her arm and she begins to pull them onto her bare feet, which may or may not have rocks lodged into them. but erin’s so excited , she either doesn’t notice or she doesn’t care. she links arm with anna and begins to pull her towards the elegantly decorated doors. ❝i’m so excited!❞
