The Atatiana Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit created in honor of Atatiana Carr Jefferson. Atatiana, while babysitting her nephew, was murdered in her home by a Fort Worth police officer. The project continues the work Atatiana was doing at the time of her death - introducing youth to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math)
