I you want to, could you give a translation or an interpretation of the lyrics of Dune?? it's one of my favourite songs and i think it's a crime that it's the only song in the world outlaw that hasn't been performed, and we don't even have an mv either, or a snippet of them singing it :((( I don't know how accurate the genius lyrics are (considering what i know, the poetry in the lyrics is probably completely butchered) but to it reads as like a companion piece to halazia. if in halazia they are asking for halazia (or whatever god) to be the light, but they realize that halazia isn't going to (can't??) do anything and all efforts to change their lives rely on them (thus the bridge and the no more keep your soul), then dune reads as an angel fallen from grace despairing because of the position they find themselves in and wishing they could return to heaven. does it show that Catholicism has had a big impact in my life even though im an atheist because i live in mainly catholic country with a really important historic reliance on the church??

Dune is a scary ass song. Also, Yeosang never sounded like that before, or, frankly, since, correct? Like, with Golden Hour 3: In Your Fantasy he found his Doberman but he still doesn't sound like he does in Dune.
I also have to preface that a) I am not a poet in any language, b) I don't actually like poetry very much beyond, um, Sylvia Plath and Nikki Giovanni (literally the only two poets I actually bother to read) c) i am not a professional translator of anything, and d) I do not know the lore enough (nor will I ever bother to, probably) to know how this song is supposed to fit into the whole uh, canon of it.
