Atelier's Homework 005 with fine special guest: Emanuel De Vayrac (Habitus Berlin). We’ve been proudly hosted in Tokyo at Kittikun Shoutcast radio studios where we will periodically broadcast 2 times por month (first and third Monday of the month). Bio / As producer De Vayrac made all the journey from dark experimental tracks, across minimal chansons to glamy electropop as with his group Les Frères Checkolade, who threw the musical whirlwind "Superdisco" onto our dancefloors (Elefant Rec / Marsh Marigold Rec). As DJ (vinyl and digital) he loves plunging the audience into raw, deep and acid soaked techno music with an obvious love for trippy journeys. The Goethe Institut invited in 2007 De Vayrac as Berlin representative underground DJ for playing in Los Angeles and San Francisco. Other international bookings brought him to Tokyo, Toronto, Moscow and Yekaterinburg. He played the last years several times at the famous Fusion Festival and - beside playing in clubs like Golden Pudel (HH), Sisyphos and Griessmuehle (B) - had a residency at the Chalet Club, one of Berlins most wanted places for hedonistic escapism. Meanwhile, after meeting two very talented young Berlin DJs/producers with the same passion for electronic music far below the surface of the usual banter, they created the "Habitus" Crew that organizes regulary events in different Berlin underground clubs with artists like Hector Oaks, RVDS, Glos, Diego Krause, Cinthie, Doron Eisenberg, ... Emanuel De Vayrac worked together with/was Remixed by artists like Erobique (Int. Pony), Michaela Melián, Rick Mc Phail (Tocotronic), Frank Spilker (Die Sterne), Easter, Rechenzentrum, Naomi, Surf, LAN, Pascal Fuhlbrügge (ex Kolossale Jugend).
