Full coordinate at the Secret Rose Letter Teaparty with the two pieces I finished recently - the 20s inspired chain headpiece and the handmade silk flowers set. Also wearing BTSSB Madonna Lily jsk, Innocent World bolero and shoes, and vintage jewelry.

Two hairpieces finished for the Secret Rose Letter Teaparty tomorrow. I used three different techniques to make all of the flowers by hand. I loved playing with all the different textures of the fabrics. They're on a buckram base with clips attached. The best part is I made this with everything I had on hand. I can't remember the last time this happened.

Art nouveau inspired headdress to wear to next weekend’s tea party. I used natural looking pearls instead of the perfectly round ones for a more period look.

At an estate sale last year, I bought a cute white wicker basket for $2.50 and it was filled with ribbon embroidery supplies. Bought a couple of books this spring to teach myself but it felt overwhelming. I really need to just stop overthinking everything and just do it. Feels good to be making things again after being creatively blocked for so long.

Back from Rufflecon, I managed to finish the dress on the train up and won second place for the handmade contest! Better dress form pictures later, but I just wanted to share my new favorite thing, a commission by scorpionxstar of me in pigeon form.
