look at the mini athena parthenos statue i got for my travel altar!
throwback to when i met this baby pagan and we were talking about the gods we worship.
and i had mentioned that i worshiped Athena (i am...VERY prideful about that i love Athena) and they proceed to go "Oh i kinda hate Athena..." and when i asked why they said it was because of the myth with Medusa
i had to explain how the gods are not their myths, yes read the myths of them to get closer to them, BUT THE GODS ARE NOT THEIR MYTHS.
Should I start worshipping Athena? I keep getting signs.
I did 5 hours on my dissertation today as I'd been putting it off, and I did it as a devotional act to Athena. I got distracted at the beginning but I remembered the promise I had made to Her and it was enough to motivate me to lock in. I ended up really enjoying it and finishing my literature review section. Later this evening I was at the altar telling Her about it and I felt this really intense energy. It felt like She was standing behind me. The energy felt like... pride? I feel way more motivated to work on my paper now, gotta make my mentor proud 🥲

Lol I was just doing tarot divination with Athena and I pulled out two cards back to back while yawning that were basically just telling me to go tf to sleep. She saw the dark circles round my eyes and went "absolutely not" 😭
This is extremely specific and niche but I've been dedicating my studies to Athena as a devotional act and I think she really approves of the subject matter. I'm training to be an occupational therapist and it's a real mix of science, healing, intuition and strategy. I absolutely love OT and the work it does for people, and I hope I can make her proud with it.
At a local art group I go to we were making pendants out of recycled materials and I decided to make and hand paint one of an owl as an offering to Athena. Felt extra appropriate for the goddess of crafts. Featuring a handmade altar cloth I also made for her!
