ᴄʀᴀɪɢ;; – Whoops, looked like he was caught red handed. He couldn’t help it that he got so emotional over something like that. He was just way too into it, too much for his own good, actually. Hell, there were days he’d silently cry when “My Heart Will Go On” started playing… Anywhere!
‘ Look, Robert, dude, bro. ‘ He took in a deep breath, his hands placed together in front of his mouth. As he pointed them in Robert’s direction, he spoke again. ‘ Rose and Jack had a more tragic romance than that of Romeo and Juliet. And the fact it was actually a thing doesn’t help either. Have you seen the museum thing that comes to the science center? I cry at that too! ‘
Robert gave an amused snort and shook his head.
“Listen, Rose and Jack are expys of Romeo and Juliet. Look at the damn initials. Forbidden love, everybody dies? Sound familiar? You wouldn’t have had them without the classic. Back off it.”
Didn’t have to be a bad thing. Robert could recognise Titanic as a groundbreaking cinematic masterpiece while still noting its similarities to works before it. Hard not to rip off Shakespeare, anyway. Guy’s stories were staples for a reason. Even Disney got in on that game.
But well, yeah, the difference was in the rest of the story of the Titanic being all too real. Definitely a tear jerker, all combined.
Robert could hardly blame him. He’d cried himself. He was mostly giving Craig a hard time for fun.
