The genre of folk rock we discuss in here can be located within many different soundscapes. However, I would dare to suggest that the idiom found a perfect place during the 60's. The reasons for this vary from one analysis to another, though they all agree these sounds somehow captured the zeitgeist. Thus, the cases, such as The Seekers, were all over the place. Since we mentioned them, they, for example, mixed the style of folk rock with the characteristics of a vocal group, but we must admit they veered close to the easy listening at times. Nonetheless, their soothing tone fitted the era of the 60's despite them being less rebellious as the most known folk rock musicians. They actually showed another possibility of the mode.
