I have never understood you; plain and simple.

You were a vital part to my family, aiding my daughter with her transition into vampirism whether you knew you were doing it or not. I always considered you a bit of an attention diva, but your actions made more sense once I discovered the truth. I cannot bring myself to understand why, if your jealousy fueled you so, you simply did not shift into your human form and make yourself known. We would not have abandoned you for what you were, but still some part of me remains fond of our time together.

Alice awoke in a daze, and she wasn’t quite sure which side of the world she was on. Awake or asleep? Asleep or awake? Did it matter? She shook her head to the left. The right. She was on the ground. She was restrained. When she fell asleep had anyone tied her? Had she been near anyone? She tried to summon up something to test, but her mind was drugged. So she continue to lay helplessly as she waited her senses to return.

She heard the voice before she saw the source, but truth be told, there was no need for her to seek him out. She knew who would be sitting on that chair in the corner, yet which form he would take at that particular moment remained a mystery. Her eyes settled on shoes and she had her answer. Damn cat.

Name. What had he told her his human name was? Normally, she wouldn’t care what he had to say on the matter; he would always be referred to as the cat. But this time…something felt different. Dangerous, almost. Best to not upset.

"…Armas?" Her throat felt dry and sore. "What’s going on?" She tried again to bring something to her hand. Her knife. The hobbyhorse. Anything. But nothing came. Thoughts came and went effortlessly and without control.

"Untie me." What did he mean by ‘pet?’ Why was nothing she imagining into existence coming to life? Unless she was actually awake in reality. But in that case, what was he doing here? Questions circled her brain. Repeated. Circled again. Constant cycling. Never ceasing. Damnit...

Did she use anything earlier? She couldn't remember for the life of her. Maybe someone else did it to her? Either way, something was wrong with her body and mind. She hadn't felt this helpless since...since...

Since before the end of that damn doctor.

Alice tried to sit up in vain. Her body felt weighted down and weightless all at once. Strange sensation indeed. The hell was wrong with her?

"...What did you do...?"
