modern headcannon that when jet was redeemed and had yet to be an official memeber of the avatar, zuko and sokka went and collected doodles from all team avatar members (including momo) and made a sort of collage and went up to him and went
"listen bitch
youve been a bitch
but now youre less of a bitch
but to make you officially no-more-bitchy we have decided you must be branded"
and jet gets shitscared that they're going ot burn him or something but then they hold up the page and go
"you like tattoos, you HAVE to get these ones. on like your arm or something, you cant HIDE hide them, but a lil secercy is fine, but you have to get them. its redemption."
and jet goes "shit sure why not-"
