“The Marriage Lie” by @kimberlysbelle has been on my Kindle shelf for awhile and now that I’ve finished it, I wonder why it took me so long to get to it. “The Marriage Lie” is a domestic thriller. Iris and Will are a happy couple in Atlanta who just celebrated 7 years of marriage. Will goes on a business trip to Orlando but his name is on the passenger list of a downed plane heading for Seattle. Why was he name on that list? Was he really heading to Seattle and if so, why did he lie? Iris, in her denial and grief, sets out to find out the truth and the secrets just might be deadly. Suspenseful and emotional, but what stands out most for me is the author’s excellent character development. I enjoy books most when the characters seem like real people - with depth and fully developed personalities.
