A Walk to Remember
I stroll aimlessly to seek the purpose
of my happiness and functional pain
that touches on a breezy day within
mini twisters of thoughts blowing like leaves,
Teaching lessons of how to catch a dream
that grows to greatness whispering a nudge
of tenor flowing across the river
through open skies from the highest giver,
About how to heal with nature’s blessings,
but I listen to the wind on this walk,
because the subtle stillness heals troubles
joined by good and bad in life’s master class.
I am not alone on a moving cloud
and many times as I gaze on the path,
humming with the birds chirping in the trees,
remembering to take each day with ease.
