⇢ seriously, she’d say things you’d expect to hear from a bully at middle school, and not one of your parents, like constantly mocking rowan for their personal tastes and constantly judging things like her clothing style, and being their mother: making them wear things she considered ‘more appropriate’ so yeah ??? congratulations!
⇢ she’d often talk about rowan as if raising her was such a big burden, and it just left ro wondering to themselves ‘if it’s so hard taking care of me why didn’t you just put me up for adoption or something ???’
⇢ this stuff didn’t really mess with rowan, it just made them kinda sick of living with her? that being why she moved out so fast when she got the chance to because of uni
⇢ nowadays, their relationship is pretty much a lot better, but rowan still keeps their distance, preferring to not get too involved with their family when it’s not needed

⇢ bonus: they haven’t came out to them officially yet because they actually don’t care, rowan’s way of coming out would probably be just showing up at home with a girlfriend when they come to visit them on holidays and act like ‘oh, yeah, i’m gay, haven’t you heard?’ -- they really make no effort to hide it lmao probably everyone around them knows except for their family

hey guys! this here is lil miss Ella. I don’t have a long winded intro written for her just yet. but below are some of the basics. Let me know if you want to plot, she needs all kinds of connections! I’m a sucker for loads of fun and loads of angst, so let’s come up with something awesome!
-Ella had normal, well to do upbringing in London, England. Her parents are exactly what you would expect when you imagine people who come from ‘old money.’
-While her parents are quite stuck up, Ella on the other hand is not. As one can imagine, this led to many misunderstandings in her upbringing. Ella is more of a free spirit while her parents are trapped in their conventional ways.
-Ella and authority don’t really mesh. Rather than continuing the constant arguing with her parents, the blonde decided that she wasn’t to go to uni in The States where she is pursuing a degree/career in performing arts. From the time she was a small child, Ella loved the spot light. Singing as soon as she could talk, dancing as soon as she could walk.
-TW: DRUG USE/SUICIDE : She’s had one serious relationship in her life that ended in tragedy. The couple used drugs recreationally and no one saw a problem with it until Ella arrived home, finding him unconscious. There were drugs in his system but no one actually knows if it was truly intentional. This has left her broken to what she feels is beyond repair, but she’ll never act like it. She’ll also never talk to you about it.
-Her devil may care attitude is a defense mechanism to keep people from getting too close. She still uses drugs to help her deal with it, which seems counterproductive, but that’s life, eh?
-Ella is fairly certain that she’s already lost the only love of her life so she avoids intimacy. That’s not to say that she avoids sex. In fact, she thinks it’s a great distraction. She does however avoid the sleepover and cuddling aspect of things. – You guessed it, connection time! Maybe a one night stand that she’s encountering again, a fuck buddy, or some sort of unrequited love?
-She feels that life is much more fun when it’s a party, so her carefree, live it up attitude typically makes it easy for her to make friends.
-On one hand, if Ella is granting you her attention it’ll make you feel like you’re the only person in the room. On the other hand, she can be easily distracted. If you’ve lost her interest she’s likely miles away in her own head.
-Ella is a wildcard, she’s all over the place. She’s reckless, impulsive and totally random but LOADS of fun!

hey everyone, my name is allie, and I’m twenty years old, est, she/her. I’m very excited to start roleplaying with everyone and just wanted to offer a little intro to my bby elliot. it’s a little lengthy and not the best, but it’s kind of the main idea i had for her. (so don’t make fun of me for it being trash) please feel free to message me for plotting, or even just to say hi.

elliot is an only child and is from a small town near chicago. coming from a middle class family, she had what she needed, and was often treated to special things every once and a while. (basically she wasn’t spoiled, but had it good). her dad was a fireman, and also was an electrician, so she rarely saw him, which made her build a very strong relationship with her mother. she confided in her mother, and told her nearly everything that was going on in her life. when she was in high school, however, her mom got in a horrible car wreck and died later that day in the hospital.
elliot was devastated, but tried to remain strong for her family, especially because her dad was taking it all really hard too. feeling all of that pressure, she began to turn to drugs and alcohol, going out every weekend; and always surprised on Monday when she woke up for school only remembering a trip to waffle house the previous day, but nothing else since leaving school on friday. it all started to slowly change her senior year of high school when she decided she wanted to go to atlantic view, somewhere so far away that she thought she could run away from her problems.
she is now a third year student at atlantic view, and is still coping with her mom’s death, but finally feels free thanks to the beach, her classes, and her friends. (but she is still working toward a sober lifestyle slowly).
