I watched this New Zealand show called Atlantis High and the whole thing was weird and camp in a good way, but the peak moment of camp was this bizarre storyline where one of the girls gets abducted by aliens and turned into a slut (this is literally what happens) so she and the mean girl character compete in what's basically a slay-off to determine who gets to be the HBIC.

Atlantis High had a great response from international buyers and the industry as a whole at MIPCOM this year and is being broadcast to several more territories.
The wacky spoof series has attracted a devoted following in the UK on Channel 5 - and its official website, www.atlantishigh.com is receiving substantial traffic and visits from fans and viewers. The website has recently had 8 brand new sections added and is packed full of video and audio content, pictures and information all about the series.
Atlantis High is a unique rollercoaster recipe combining teenage love and angst with a crazy high school, aliens, eccentric superheroes, lost civilisations and more.
The series is available as 26 x half-hour episodes and distribution rights are handled by Cloud 9's distribution subsidiary, Cumulus.

A new age in television: Atlantis High is now in production!
"Atlantis High", Cloud 9's new series, began production on January 22nd 2001 as an initial season of 26 x half-hour episodes.
The series is an unprecedented "tongue-in-cheeck"spoof comedy-melodrama and targets a mainstream audience with a teen/child bias.
"Atlantis High" is the High School backdrop (reputedly built on the lost city of Atlantis!) in the photogenic beach town of Sunset Cove.
The thematics in the series include human drama and interplay, teenage angst - and also everything from aliens to superheroes, secret agents to a lost civilisation, amazing secrets, outrageous "soap" storylines - and more...
Atlantis High will be available for delivery in mid-2001. Worldwide rights are being licensed by Cumulus Distribution.

"The Tribe" moves from strength to strength
The Tribe has become a cult international hit and its three series are receiving great interest and ratings around the world.
The first Tribe album is enjoying considerable success (initially released in New Zealand) and will be released in the UK and other West European countries throughout 2001.
Members of the Tribe cast are going to Europe on a massive promotional tour for a few months to coincide with the broadcasting of the Tribe in major countries such as Germany (Kika). This will be the third major promotional tour to Europe by the Tribe cast.
In addition there are several fiction and non-fiction books about the Tribe now available.
