                    KAT   FREEZES   AT   EDDIE’S   words   ,   a   slight   look   of   confusion   crossing   her   visage   as   she   stares   at   him   with   those   oceanic   hues   of   hers .     brows   knit   together   ever   so   slightly   ,   full   lips   turning   down   into   a   frown .     she’d   just   been   mumbling   about   something   with   gareth   ,   it   really   isn’t   that   deep .     cat-like   features   continue   to   have   confusion   etched   all   over   them   and   she   tilts   her   head   to   one   side   curiously   ,   fork   dangling   loosely   from   her   fingers   over   her   shitty   cafeteria   lunch .     one   brow   slowly   quirks   upward   ,   a   slight   smile   causing   her   lips   to   twitch   at   the   corners   as   a   certain   glimmer   finds   itself   nestled   within   blue   eyes   ,    ❛   why   do   you   care   ?   ❜    she   sasses   him   ,   the   fact   that   she   doesn’t   stutter   making   it   land   even   better .     beside   her   ,   gareth   laughs   and   quickly   covers   his   mouth   to   hide   it .     a   chorus   of   childish   ‘oooooooo’s   echoes   from   the   rest   of   the   hellfire   members   at   the   table .     kat’s   smirk   only   grows   ,   brows   waggling   as   if   it’s   a   challenge .     sometimes   ,   she   can   be   one   hell   of   a   snarky   person .
