Dolla Sign on a Atmosfearz song. It’s interesting that this is reality, a song that actually exists, it could as well hade been something from my dreams or a tongue in cheek-bootleg. But it’s not.
It’s not a cliché, music keeps getting better and better. And this comes from me, a close to middle-aged man who peaked pop-culturally almost ten years ago at this point. I haven’t visited a nightclub during all of 2015. But even if I TRIED really hard to be sceptical and nostalgic, NOTHING from that period years ago when I myself was actually a relevant consumer of club music were as powerful as the music that is being released right now. My obsessions during my peak years were just the blueprints, the drafts of the musical ideas to come, and now I am standing with tears of joy in my eyes looking at the final product in all it’s glory.
During those years, did I think that ten years from that point I would have obsessions that meant more to me that those hiphop and dance mp3s downloaded from blogs? Obsessions like sex, traveling or other lifestyle choices more suited for an adult.
If I did, I was wrong.
RnB and melodic hardstyle combined officially. I just want to say to 22-year-old Anders:
We made it.
