Blaine: But I’d never wear it in front of students. I’d never wear swim trunks in front of students either. I’m hoping that everyone just forgets about it.
Jeff: They will, it will be old news in no time at all.
Blaine: Speaking of old news. I saw that you are planning on going back to California soon.
Who: Jeff Sterling and Skylar Johnston
What: Skylar takes Jeff flying
When: Wednesday Afternoon
Where: The skies above Ohio
Notes:
If there was one place Skylar felt completely calm, it was inside the cockpit of his small plane. Being in the air and having the view along with the fact that he was in complete control of something so big, it seemed to being a new sense of focus as well as joy to the Warbler. With everything that had happened recently, Skylar needed this break. He tried to ignore the fact that last time he was here it was just before Marley told him that she had kissed Jake, that last time he was here he was under the impression that he still had a girlfriend.
As much as he tried ignoring the pain, it seemed to keep coming back more and more painful each time. It was as if he was doomed to suffer from this heartache, as much as he didn’t want to. He wanted to pretend it wasn’t real, to pretend that his feelings could just disappear, yet nothing worked out quite like that. Instead he attempted to shift his focus, he was here to show Jeff the sky, not worry about his personal problems.
After parking his car, Skylar smiled as he saw Jeff not too far away. Making his way to the blonde, Skylar adjusted his blazer as he walked. “Happy to see you could make it.” He greeted with a small smile. “If all goes well we will be in the air in about a half hour.”
