Finding the perfect place is one of the best feelings. I’m glad he was able to find on he liked and all. I have no doubt you’ll fill the place with decorative pillows and decorations for him. How big is the place/ how much IKEA furniture can you fill it with? 

Um, I’m not sure exactly sure the square footage to be honest. It’s sort of... close the the size of my place maybe? I’m bad at judging that kind of stuff. I have it all mapped out in my head where things are going to go and the rules he gave me were no crazy colors and not too much to dust, so I’m sticking to that.

I haven’t even thought about getting my own place. I am either in my dorm or at home with the family. I guess at some point, I will have to start looking.

Jeff wanted to have his own place this year, which I definitely understand. I think that living on campus is great for underclassmen, but yeah, once you get up there, an apartment is really best if you can afford it. I’d be happy to help you look for one.

You want me to walk around the house naked? That leaves nothing to the imagination. And I have to wear the speedo to be your cabana boy. I’ll get a little tray and ask if you want a spritz every now and then. I love the kitchen. I’m definitely cooking in it asap. IKEA and I are best friends. I like to go there sometimes just to look at stuff. Actually getting to buy it is a dream come true.

I like the sunny windows and I have so many ideas. I can’t wait to get your stuff unloaded and then go to IKEA. Literally IKEA is calling my name right now.

Yes! It’s definitely nice. It’s really fitting for him honestly. I’m staying till the end of the month. I wanted to help him get settled and moved in and furniture and everything. He’s going to have decorative pillows if I have anything to say about it. I’m hitting up IKEA tomorrow and I’m definitely stoked.

New and uncertain is terrifying. New and uncertain can lead to steady and happy and crying in a bar bathroom because nothing turned out the way you hoped for. I’m glad you’re happy, Blaine, I really am. You deserve it. He… he does. He does. He’s sweet, he’s kind, he’s absolutely nothing like the man I met years ago and everything like someone who could make me happy. Just more scared than I ever thought I would be.

It’s terrifying, but there would be no advances in society if no one did anything new and uncertain. It leads to scary things. Sad things. But it would never lead back to friendship and happiness if you never try. When I first met you, you were looking for help because of Dave too. And One of the things that I tried to help give you was courage. Courage to be yourself. Courage to stand up for you and for what was right. You need some of that now. I want you to be happy because as your friend- as someone who genuinely cares about you- I think you deserve to be happy. I think you should let him try to make you happy.

Ah okay. That’s cool that you guys can stay there. But I’d try and get him to pick a place…soon? Decorating could take a little while to do and I imagine he wants it set up by the time he starts classes? 

Yeah, he picked one today! It’s move in ready and we’re moving stuff tomorrow. I’m going to to as much as I can tomorrow and the next little while that I’m here. I have to leave before he starts classes so hopefully it will be done before then.

I definitely think that new and uncertain can pan out. Dalton was new and uncertain for me- and for you. McKinley was new and uncertain for me. Coming back to Lima was new and uncertain. Things are going to work out. I am happy with Jeff. He makes me feel good. Does Dave make you feel good? Because maybe he’s supposed to be who you get your chance with.

I don’t know. I mean… I do have fairly strong feelings for him, and they could very easily be love but… it’s not what I feel for you and that’s the only thing I have to go on. I’ve never loved anyone else, not in a romantic way, so I don’t really know if what I’m feeling is enough to say the words. Is how you feel about Jeff different?

PM:

I... um. I think that feelings are hard. I also think that if you don’t take chances sometimes, that nothing will ever change. Like, if you don’t take a chance with Dave, you will never know what might have happened and I don’t think that it’s something that you want to throw away. The way I feel for Jeff is different than you and me. One is a new, wavering, uncertain thing, and the other is older and mostly solid. They’re too different things.

PM: I fucked up again, Blaine. Dave and I aren’t okay and I don’t even remember how it started, but he said I love you and I couldn’t say it back and then things were just…. it was so weird, and now we haven’t talked and what do I even say. 

Spiderman! I would love to go to both though, open my horizons a little more. Maybe we can grab a bunch of the movie food like the chocolate chip cookies and mini pizzas and candy.
