so... i wanted to ask how you got your HARD MODE comic so popular.. im making my own and i don’t really know where to start. i made some concept art. how did you advertise your comic?
Oh, all of this comics popularity piggybacked off of another undertale blog I had that was ABSURDLY popular (like, I didnt tell people I was making it and it still got like 1k followers overnight popular). Unfortunately, the excuse for that was it was december 2015 when the fandom was at its peak :/ timing does a crazy lot for you.
the biggest thing though that it sounds like you might not have yet, is just making the thing. no amount of concept art is really gonna help you advertise, that stuff’s more of a share it later in the art book for a funny “what could have been” section. You kind of just have to have a finished product for people to read. best comics advice I ever got was from a friend who made something on webtoon and they said that after they finished their first thing, it got WAY more popular than it ever was while it was running because people prefer to read something that’s finished rather than get into something that runs out of updates or never gets completed.
