a thing back from ATRch70: this is first time riku’s ever seen someone he cared about get like, legitimately hurt????? so that was a fun thing to write.
“rar what about sora” listen ok he did see sora hurt real bad a couple times but that was during a more Difficult time in their lives where sora had darkness problems and attacked riku so even tho riku saw sora hurt bad (AND,,, IT WAS HIS FAULT MORE THAN ONCE,,,) it’s??? a little bit different than the sucker-punch wait holy fuck, you could be DEAD,,
and like??? i realize this isn’t even a Huge Thing but....... i’m having a good time making riku face things he hasn’t had to before. it’s not Huge, again, but also i’m excited for the character development that lies on the horizon..... it’s small, but it’s good
