“Come on, Nate, you don’t have to.” Elena continued to argue, always the stubborn was. “Really, I’m fi - ow, ow!” A hiss of pain escaped the woman as she attempted to move again. Okay, so maybe she wasn’t as recovered as she thought. But that wasn’t surprising considering she was nearly killed by a damn grenade. She had already overdone it by moving around more than she should be, but that was Elena Fisher for you.

2 You meet a manwho has killed someone and done time for it before. Does this factor into howyou treat him? Will he ever truly escape that sin?

"Yes, I dothink that it would factor in how i treat him. I mean, it of course woulddepend on the way that the murder was committed, whether it was self defense ornot, but considering that this person killed a person, it could make thempotentially dangerous. I don't know if he could ever escape that sin though. Ifhe did time for the crime, then he has done his penance, but i think thatsomething like that would leave a mark on him."

 5. Is it betterto hurt others before they hurt you or let yourself be walked all over and hurtby others?

"I'd rathernot hurt people if i can help it. But i don't want people walking over meeither. I don't know. I suppose that I have sometimes hurt people to make themstay away from me before they could hurt me."

 20. Are therepeople in this world who, no matter how much time and penitence is given,should never be forgiven?

"Yes. Thereare people like that. I've never met someone, but I do kow that history'sproven that some people should never be forgiven."

 28. How longwould you wait for the one you love? A year? Fifteen years? Forever? Could youhonestly be loyal to an unfulfilled love?

"Dependshow strong the love is. If it's soulmate level, forever."

Her gaze was steady on him, a single thought swirling within the walls of her mind.

Was she going to say it? Was she daring enough to let him know of her weakness as of that moment?

     The other’s words were just quit with a roll of the thief’s eyes, as he was already annoyed by the thousandth time Nate had repeated those words. They wouldn’t make anything better, and least of all they wouldn’t get what they had casted their eyes at. “It doesn’t matter how many times you say that, I don’t think they’re going to give us free cake,” the thief muttered, almost hissed the words at his friend.

A Teacher and a Vampire || Nate & Jedi

By now, Jedi was more than aware that she probably wasn't wanted in this bar. People kept staring at her and whispering about her even when they thought that they weren't going to be heard by her over the sound of all the things that went on in the bar. She knew that she wasn't going to be accepted by this town. She'd thought that this time it'd be different. Since the vampires came out of the coffin she thought that maybe she'd be accepted.

Guess again. She surveyed the bar, ignoring the people staring at her. This was something that she was more than used too and she was at an age that she really didn't care about that anymore. She reached for her bottle of Tru Blood, taking a small sip of it and licking the rest of it off her lip, if only to freak out an elderly lady who kept crossing herself whenever she was being glanced at.

The elderly lady clutched at her crucifix, crossing herself again and mumbling a prayer under her breath, ignoring how her grandson was telling her that she was being rude.

She knew she shouldn't be doing this, but she couldn't resist raising a hand and giving the lady a small wave with a flash of her fangs.

Western || Nate & Jedi

Jedi flicked her braid over her shoulder, letting out a sigh as she straightened up and stabbed the pitchfork into the bale of hay. She glanced up at the black horse nudging its face against her shoulder, smiling and reaching out and rubbing its nose. "Yeah, I know, but that's all you're getting." She told Jack, gently patting the side of his neck. "Dad's orders..." The horse huffed out a breath. "Yeah, you're right. It ain't fair."

Rubbing her arm over her forehead, she reached back to put her Stetson back on her head as she started moving out of the horse stables and heading over to the barn to get the rest of the feed out. She nodded at one of the stable hands when she passed him, her boots kicking up the dust as she stepped into the barn.

Sighing, she walked over to the side for the bag, only to pause when she heard the sound at the end of the barn. "Hello?" She called. "Someone here?" She fell silent, not sure what to do now. If it was someone she knew, they would've answered by now, right? Unless it was her dad on one of his benders again... regardless of that, she reached out, picking up one of the old rusty pitchforks. "Show yourself!" She called out, holding it out like a spear she'd seen some of the Indians do once, she moved over to the sound.
