15 a- If you could have prevented the death of a single character, which one would it be?

As you already guessed, I would have saved Hange of course!

Like Erwin died when the answer to his lifelong quest was within his grasp, Hange sacrificed themself before they could explore the outside world, quench their thirst for knowledge, help make people's lives better with new discoveries... I'm fascinated by their intelligence & all those amazing qualities that make them one of the best written characters in SNK, personality-wise. They would have been such an asset in the post war SNK universe.

15 b- What is your favorite (top 3 if you can't choose one) soundtrack?

15 c- Do you prefer the anime or the manga?

To be perfectly honest, I read the whole manga only once. I often read a random chapter or a few panels online but I still have to read it again (& it's a pain in the ass because I have the Edition Colossale & every book is f*cking heavy lmao). Besides, the French translation is not very good imo, it missed most of the dialogues' subtleties / nuances :((

Still, the manga panels are amazing, Isayama has a real talent for drawing the facial expressions & making us understand what's going on or feel so many emotions without a single word.

But I love the anime, even if a few things missing or changed kinda rub me the wrong way! The animation is insane (Levi's action scenes are always flawless & omg it's part of why I love the short badass so much!). The music is amazing & epic. The VAs are phenomenal (I only watch the Japanese version with French or English subtitles). It's a f*cking great show!

Just a few words about the scene between Eren & Armin in the last episode. As much as I cannot accept Eren's actions, I still felt sorry & sad for him. But the scene with Armin in the manga was so pathetic it almost swept away my sympathy towards him. Thanks Mappa for fixing this scene, making it a real moment of emotion between soulmate friends, & giving Eren a bit of his humanity back.

So anime it is!

15.a) if you could have changed a single event, what would it be?

It's not a single event per say, but I would have added more moments between the characters in the earlier parts of the story, particularly between the vets, and between Reiner & Bertholdt and Eren.

15.b) what is a scene that you prefer in the manga and not in the anime? And vice versa?

Most of the Uprising arc is done better in the manga, imo (shirtless Levi, need I say more?!?). There's this one scene in particular between Dimo and Levi that I wish they had fully incorporated into the anime. I think it made readers more attached to the Reeves company:

Anime-wise, I think the ending is handled better, particularly the conversation between Armin and Eren & the added scenes that give us a glimpse into everyone's lives post-rumbling.

15.c) what is your favorite duo?

Hange & Levi is probably my favorite duo, I just really enjoy the way they balance each other. However, I do want to mention Uri and Kenny as well - I know we've talked about it before but I think this duo (and its impact on the narrative) is often overlooked.

Okay, I just answered this here but I just realized I do have a snippet to share for another work, which is something that I wrote for a drabble prompt for @sixpennydame that turned into a whole smutty one-shot. This is the lead-up to something more ;))

“Don’t say shit like that. Anything is everything," Levi mutters. "Other people would abuse your willingness. You shouldn't speak so recklessly.” A moment passes by. You lick your lips, already moistened by the fog. Suddenly you recall the actual reason for being here. [...] It might be why you dare to say your next words: “Do you want to abuse my willingness?”

(I'm still editing this at my snail pace but I'm excited to share this.)

✍️ Which stat matters most to you (if at all!): subscriptions, kudos/favorites, comments, bookmarks, word count, or hits?

I try to not let engagement matter too much (try is the word) but comments are definitely up there for me. I love chatting with readers and getting their impressions on where they think the story is going to go.

🍄 Are there any fandoms you've never written for but want to try?

Vinland Saga, all because of you XD I'm almost done with S02 and I would love to write something for Thorfinn (Askeladd too, but I'm too intimidated for now). Another fandom I'd love to try is Blue Samurai.

A: How did you come up with the title to we all bleed red?

I think I picked it bc I felt it was symbolic to one of the messages of the story - just like in AOT, the idea of good people and bad people, then also extending to humans vs supernatural, is explored. It’s a key theme to the story and the romance.

(+ since this is a vampire AU, it felt pretty fitting lol)

R: Are there any writers (fanfic or otherwise) you consider an influence?

U: A pairing you might like to write for, but haven’t tried yet.

Any ships involving the vets, honestly. Hange and Levi is happening this year.

Oh, and I am dying to write Mizu x Akemi, a ship I've fallen head over heels for from the show Blue Eye Samurai.

V: A secondary (or underrated) character you want to see more of in fic?

Onkyankopon or Pieck. I can’t pick, but I’ve been wanting to see more from both of them lately, especially in postwar contexts.
