torn between an Atsuko who looks older than what she is so people find it easier to call her an adult when she is a child and give her the same amount of grace as a woman who has lived a wole life for 40 years instead of a literal 13-year-old

vs an Atsuko who looks younger than her actual age and, being tired of all the ways she and Yusuke are judged when they present as mother and son and also not feeling at all like the woman "motherhood" was supposed to beat into her, so she lies and says they're siblings w a large age gap
