Inarizaki Kuroo pt1
Atsumu Miya has a crush.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Ya should stop staring, scrub. He’s going ta notice.” Osamu said,
“Shut yer mouth, I ain’t staring at no one”
That was a lie of course, but Atsumu didn’t know that getting into the volleyball team would mean that he’d have to be around Kuroo Tetsurou. He wasn’t one to have crushes, he had more important things to focus on –like winning nationals with his brother–
So, when he saw Kuroo at the try-outs, he was amazed.
Kuroo Tetsurou was charming, talented at volleyball, smart, handsome and he wasn’t afraid to get in the middle when Atsumu and Osamu started fighting.
Which was hot, but he refused to think about that.
At least right now.
“Okay guys, let’s start warming up. We’re doing 5 laps around the field today, because someone and I’m not saying names, ” He looked at the twins while saying that and Atsumu felt himself blushing. “Decided it’d be a good idea to mess up training to fight over some meaningless thing.”
Atsumu tried to hide within himself, he’d never felt so ashamed before.
The thing was that Kuroo didn’t hold grudges which made it so much worse because now he was helping them block properly and Atsumu couldn’t focus.
He was trying really but he was so distracting and he wouldn’t elaborate.
He wouldn’t.
Osamu wasn’t doing any better and he could see Suna gawking at him when his sweatshirt rose up while showing the arm movements.
In the end, training today was hard.
“You did great guys, go home now and get some rest. I’m proud of you all.”
And that was all Atsumu needed to crumble right there and then.
“Kuroo-senpai!” He exclaimed without even noticing. Kuroo turned back to him, giving him all his attention. Atsumu blushed, /again/.
“Miya, is everything okay?”
“I- yeah, I was wondering that, maybe…” He could feel everyone staring at him and Suna filming somewhere around them. “Are you dating anyone?” Atsumu was mortified but he forgot all about it when Kuroo smiled at him.
“Any special reason you want to know?” Kuroo teased and Atsumu turned even a brighter red. “I’m not, but that’s not what you should be focusing on, Atsumu.” Kuroo rubbed his hair like one would a sibling. “See you tomorrow at training, and stop fighting your brother.”
Kuroo left, leaving Atsumu speechless. He could feel Osamu and Suna laughing at him but he couldn’t care less.
Kuroo had called him Atsumu.
