Seonghwa sprinted forward, sweat rolling down his brow.
He could make it. He just needed to grab hold and-
Movement caught his eye and he threw his hand up, grunting as the wall of ice shattered instantly. It was only his reflexes that saved him, dodging by leaning back and just barely missing the impact of a jewel embedded fist.
Dirt kicked up as he regained his balance, albeit a bit clumsily as the ground fractured around him.
"You can do better. Unless its too hot for you, Snowy?"
Seonghwa grit his teeth, looking around.
Weaving in and out of the cave, jumping in and out of the ground, even he was having trouble keeping up with this beast.
'Stay off of the ground, Park Seonghwa.' He rallied himself and raised himself up on a platform of ice. From here he would be able to see. Maybe pin down the person attacking him and their methods.
"Oh? Did you want me to come up?"
Seonghwa heard a rumble before the ground just below his ice pillar began to shake.
Ice blue eyes narrowed before widening as his pillar completely shattered. Seonghwa let out a startled shout as he was flung from his perch, falling upside down as a figure burst past him.
Blinking and refocusing, he summoned a smooth slide just before he could hit anything vital, looking up as he watched his ice melt instantly.
With parted lips, he glanced at where his pillar stood, staring in disbelief at what was undoubtedly a volcano left in the beast's wake.
His eyes trailed up, landing on a shirtless man with scales and jewels adorning different parts of his body. He stared a hole through Seonghwa and tutted.
"Okay. I'm done warming up."
