For every âââ I get, my Museâs âDarkening Meterâ will rise by 10%, driving them more and more insane! If you get them to 100%, you get a small drabble of their final moments before being completely enveloped!
ăâââă It had been a dream, nothing more than a bizarre dream.
Atterria just needed to keep reminding herself that, just push those thoughts aside and focus on the task at hand. There was no reason to get so worked up over a tiny little dream, after all, she had a job to do and she needed to pay attention to what Chonâsinese sergeant was saying to them.
âFocus⌠focusâŚâ she continued to repeat to herself internally, âpay attentionâŚâ
But try as she might, not a single word the man was saying was getting through to her. While she may have appeared to be attention during the war meeting, Atterria left the tent not having heard a single word that had been spoken.
âHey, Atta, are you alright?â A soft voice called out to her, âAtta?â
The tealette suddenly blinked from whatever spell she had been under and lowered her gaze to the individual beside her. What would have normally been a smiling and cheerful face was now consumed by confusion and concern. Atterria did a double take, blinking a few more times before resuming her usual expression.
âYeah⌠sorry, just⌠just a bit out of itâŚâ her hand rose to her face and then proceeded to pinch the bridge of her nose. âI guess⌠I feel a bit overworked or somethingâŚâ
There were bags under her eyes, but that wasnât unusual.
However, since that dream two days ago, Atterria hadnât been able to rest fully through the night which had led to her doing some late night work. Going into work mode, she had accidently missed breakfast yesterday and today, and had nearly forgotten to each lunch had it not been delivered to her by Daedra. A task that was not part of Daedraâs job requirements, but still the better alternative than having Frederick or Stahl fetch her and then drag her to the mess tent.
âHey DaedraâŚâ she began but quickly stopped when she considered her question, ânever mindâŚâ She muttered then looked to the tactician in training, âIâll be fine⌠do not fret, so vanquish that look from your face, alright?â
