Like Character Cameos, I figured I would also do a series cataloging all the boss appearances in Star Fox Restored. Since I want to include every boss in some way. Even if I get a little... creative with it. Unlike Character Cameos, however, I figured I didn't need to start with a list. You can find lists of all the Star Fox bosses multiple places.
With all of that out of the way, let's dive into our first entry:
Attack Carrier
The Attack Carrier is a boss that has appeared many times in the Star Fox series. First seen in SNES Corneria levels 1 and 2, the Attack Carrier then made reappearances in Star Fox 64 and Zero. I believe it also appears in the Nintendo Power comics.
You can find Attack Carrier in the first chapter of Rivals Arise. I decided to have it be the first 'boss fight' of the series, given how the Attack Carrier was the first boss in the SNES game. I also felt the ending exchange between Fox and the Attack Carrier's captain played well into how Fox wants Andross to know Star Fox is coming for him.
The ship keeps its pilot in Star Fox Restored (spoiler, not all ship bosses will have their usual pilot), so the Attack Carrier Captain, named Lt. Gator in the series, met his fate with his ship. We will not see him again.
