Heavy fighting has taken place in several cities across Ukraine. Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, has seen some of the fiercest battles with Russian forces accused of using cluster munitions. Many civilians are reported to have been killed. Thousands more people have been trying to flee the country, adding to a growing refugee crisis. Clive Myrie in Kyiv presents BBC News at Ten reporting by Orla Guerin and Fergal Keane.
