ok listen i am not surprised by this but i am baffled (on, like, a "i cannot put myself in this frame of mind" level) that we now have two separate cases of "a white man was attacked by Not An Illegal Immigrant" and this has caused a significant subset of society to lose their damn minds about how we Must Clamp Down On Illegal Immigration

like. buddy. one of the perpetrators was a legal refugee who had been through the legal pathways of not one, not two, but three European countries (France, Ireland, and Britain), and the other was literally a British-born Englishman.

I have four male history teachers (including me) next year, and only one female. When I started teaching, all my departments were female heavy.

I am of the opinion that women make the best teachers because, by the vast majority, they can put their ego aside, they're more reliable, and they work harder. They don't want to be teachers anymore and we all know why. This is a huge loss to the profession.
