Um, Hanji isn't canon as any gender. The gender of Hanji is unconfirmed, not stated as non-binary. The character's gender was left open for interpretation. Plus, it is possible for someone to look female but be gendered male or even agendered. Appearance doesn't make a gender.

Alright but… It’s gotten to the point where it’s widely accepted that Hanji is female even though they’re not? And it’s been heavily implied that they’re non binary by the creator themselves… Or at least said, you can interpret them however you want. The problem here is that people are constantly drawing Hanji with breasts/in a dress/etc and referring to them as “she” at the same time because people are cissexist as hell. Of course a nb person can appear as female/male (I’m "masculine" presenting :/) and that’s their choice but a majority of the fandom that draws them as female is making assumtions. Besides, they don’t even have breasts in canon art…???

Also look at this and try to tell me that this means that they’re just keeping their gender a secret and it’s not nb.
