“Oh Sorry, was I taking up this space?” he asked, realizing that there was another person near him. He quickly gathered all this papers and put them on his actual table. “Sorry about that, most people don’t usually sit over here.” He laughed nervously, looking up at them.

"Mommy?" Joseph asked, tugging at the hem of Lydia's dress and widening his brown puppy eyes. "Is daddy coming home from savin' da world yet?"

Lydia smiled down at her son. She lifted him into her arms and kissed his forehead. “Give him a couple of weeks baby. He’s suppose to Skype us tonight.” She hated that Eli was deployed, but loved all the effort her put forth to stay connected.
