hello! Hopefully you don't mind an unnecessary abundance of questions, I was double checking for the remedy stuff I wanted to ask and stumbled upon Noor and your superstructures so–

Have you played Quantum break and if so what did you think of it?

What are your predictions for Barry Wheeler in resonant? With the whole staying at Chester's resort he will surely make some kind of appearance but I have no clue yet how it would go

What was Noors childhood like? Does/did she have any siblings? What kind of settlement was it?

1- i haven't played Quantum Break! i've heard its a sort of stepping stone in terms of gameplay and Remedy's use of mixed media between AW1 and Control + AW2. i know QB's also the origin of Door and Tim---frankly, their characters felt somewhat disconnected in comparison to the rest of the AW2 core cast (which works on a meta level, I suppose), but I'd love to understand them a bit better, so I might check it out eventually.

2- he's a scrappy New Yorker, I'm sure he'll pop up! from what I could tell he compartmentalized the events of AW1 and convinced himself that they didn't happen, which I think would be impossible once Alan is back, and especially impossible once the Oldest House is breached. seeing his reaction to a local apocalypse would be pretty funny, but I think any appearance by Barry or the Wake couple will likely be restricted to a cameo. i'd love to see any of them again, though, and I sincerely hope that they're okay!

of any AW character who doesn't live in NYC, I think Zane is extremely likely to make a cameo---like the New Yorkers of AW, I don't expect him to be significant to the plot, but as the game is said to be about exploring Dylan's past, and Zane and Darling are heavily implied to be in a relationship as of AW2, well, Dylan's bound to learn about his new stepdad at some point, right?

3 - Noor had a very good childhood! she grew up on Europa, and originally planned to be a terraformer herself. during the time of the bulk of the story, Europa is largely a water source that's carefully monitored and replenished, and overall sparsely populated, with many people passing through to refuel and rehydrate, the permanent population being academics and scientists like Noor's parents. Her childhood home was essentially a quiet port town.

she didn't have any siblings, but her parents were very loving. her childhood accustomed her to constantly meeting new people, with periods of near-isolation and quiet, which prepared her well for interstellar travel. as long as she as a person or two that she's close to in contact with her, she's good.
