“What the hell?” Dean looked around, he almost had to pinch himself to see if he was awake or not. Maybe his eyes was playing him a trick? He was at a television set. It was not possible that he just ended up here without having no memory of getting there. With fast steps he started to look around, he recognized all the scenery, because he had been that. People were flashing him smiles as he walked passed him. Then he suddenly stopped at a scenery which looked like Bobby’s house, he just started at it. Was this some kind of joke? "You ready for the scene? We start in 15 minutes Jensen!” Dean heard someone say behind him, but they quickly ran after someone else. But then he saw her, looking just as confused as him, “Natalie?” He walked up to her, “What are you doing here?” Then he took a quick pause, “What am I doing here?”

Was he nervous? Oh hell yeah he was. After finally getting used to the new schedule with Sarah, he finally went to Natalie with a proposition. He knew that the feelings between them were still there, and he wanted to give them another chance. He knew it was dangerous, but seeing as how things were going right now, he wanted to try. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t be able to forgive himself later.

He lightly rapped on the apartment door, adjusting his tie anxiously as he waited for her to answer. A night out was something they both needed, and he vowed to make it up for the lost years and his quick departure years prior. He was wearing his nicer slacks and tie, a reservation at the swanky restaurant across town while Sarah was at a friend’s... It was the perfect set up, at least in his mind. He wanted to show her he could do what any other guy could, including a nice date.

Date. The word almost felt foreign to him. How long had it been since he was on a genuine date with no goals for anything, no information, no sex, purely just... a date. He took a deep breath, calming his nerves as he rested against the wall beside the door.

To say he was nervous, that was an understatement. For one, he hadn’t seen or spoken to Natalie in about 15 years. Two, she did her best to keep who he was from their daughter, and obviously the cat was out of the bag. Three, back all those years ago, he really did love her, or at least he thought so. If he hadn’t have been forced to leave town to keep from being arrested or discovered, he really would’ve stayed.

He stood outside her motel room for what seemed like an hour, even though it was probably only a few minutes. He swallowed the lump in his throat, hesitantly knocking on the door. This was the moment of truth...

“How could you do this? How could you hide this for so long?!” Dean raged on, swiftly sliding his hands along the counter - bringing everything on it crashing to the floor, a plate shattering in the process and the pieces scattering everywhere. He sighed loudly, bowing his head and pinching the bridge of his nose “She’s my daughter and here she’s been raised by a real prize.” He sarcastically retorted, angered at Natalie for lying to him for so long - for letting Sarah grow up in a dysfunctional home “Here I thought we could be honest with each other, I guess that only goes one way, huh?”
