Things to read...
For Atti, because she wants stuff to read. Only I don't know her fandoms so I'm just grabbing random things from my bookmarks folder... Yay? The one thing I did look for when grabbing fic was to try to pick only fics that were gen. There's one exception to that rule, but outside of that, here are 12 fics that I enjoyed enough to bookmark c:

1) The Tell-Tale Heart - A Dr. Horrible/Buffy crossover - In which Spike goes to Dr. Horrible to get his chip removed. [Sort of dark, but thoughtful.]
2) My Heart's Duet - Enchanted - the connection between the end of the movie and the marriage of Edward and Nancy. [Very, very cute c:]
3) Caitlin's Memory - Boondock Saints - the last scene of the movie from the viewpoint of an OC. [A little haunting, but not depressing per se. A look into how the public might have responded to the last scene of the movie.]
4) Foreigners - Watchmen - a post-Watchmen fic from the viewpoint of Sarah Hollis, the daughter of Dan and Laurie. [A look at future!Dan through his daughter's eyes.]
5) The No "No Homo" Code - How I Met Your Mother - Barney/Ted - In which Barney convinces Ted to try something new. [This is my exception to the rule. I don't know how, but this fic sold me on the pairing. It is also adorable and funny.]
6) And She Held Her Head Up High - DC/Marvel - Five times Lian Harper fell into another universe and found herself a new family (and one time her daddy found her).
7) Eat it, Twilight - Criminal Minds/SPN - The BAU has to deal with a serial killer who believes he's hunting vampires. The unsub's name: Dean Winchester.
8) Winds to Catch - Mary Poppins/Narnia - "Come with me," Mary says, and Susan doesn't hesitate because this is the second chance she thought she'd already lost alongside everyone who could give it to her. [Do I even need to comment? Read this crossover ;laksjfdl]
9) The Affair of the Asphyxiated Acafan - Sherlock BBC - Sarah flies home from a conference in the US and brings an unexpected gift home for her boyfriend - or, more precisely, his flatmate. Game on! [Amazing gen case-fic!]
10) Villains - DCAU: JLU - The Flash's Rogues gallery's response to the events of Divided We Fall [ I have a huge soft spot for the Rogues. They're criminals, but they're not evil, and they have a very human viewpoint in spite of their involvement with the spandex lifestyle. ]
11) the prize we sought is won - Animorphs/SPN - It was six years after Rachel’s death when Tobias had the first dream. He was in a cave, half-human and half-hawk, and a shadow-man with yellow eyes manifested before him. [This is chilling and amazing and I want to cry over Tobias a lot.]
12) Clint Eastwood's Best Move - White Collar - Neal's going to learn self-defense if it kills him (and with Peter teaching him, it might).
