So I slapped the 20MHz crystal on the ATtiny84, but it turns out that I definitely forgot to set the fuse bits for the external oscillator when I flashed the memory. So now I gotta figure out how to so that (which is good because I completely forgot how avrdude works)

Finally have all the parts I need for the dual DCO and I'm now remembering that I never did figure out how to compile firmware for the ATtiny84
I did previously get it flashed with a raspberry pi and an existing hex file off github, but I also gotta remember how to do that...
It's the "Hello World!" of microcontroller programmimg, but I got it to blink an LED!
I had some trouble with the make file since the example I was working off of was for a different chip, but it got me through the compile process. Definitely worth going through and making sure I understand everything that's going on in there
Hell yeah, AVR device is initialized and ready to accept instructions! My project for the weekend (and probably next week) is going to be getting her set up as the brain for the DCO.
Also pictured is the ATtiny85 that I fried. I might turn her into jewelry or something

Ze Clapper // Arduino + ATtiny84
Finally made a clapper. You know... the on/off switch that is magically controlled by clapping.
It is based off of the schematics and code from here: http://imanoj-tech.blogspot.com/2013/02/arduino-clapper.html I modified the sketch so that it can be transferred into an ATtiny84 micro controller.
