Franziska gives a tight-lipped smile back to Mrs. Heere. It’s not as if they’re getting much done, no cases just… organizing. Both of them needed something to do, but were just as aware of their inability to do too much.
The work, while simply busywork, did give Miles something to ground himself on, so he does perk and acknowledge Mrs. Heere. “It’s good to see you, Mrs. Heere.” His gaze is a bit distant, words somewhat automatic, but Franziska feels a bit a relief that he’s responding at all.
