𝗣𝗛𝗬𝗦𝗜𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗦 ㅤ ㅤ ㅤ―― ㅤ ㅤ ㅤdivine nymphology.
⁽⁰¹⁾ : antenna similar to most insects. they provide extra senses to her atop the ones she already physically has. used primarily to detect shifts in energy, emotions, feelings or nature BUT can be used to detect chemicals in the air or sounds, communicate with other insectoid's, find specific people via their smell and or find a 'potential mate'. mantis' antennae often move on their own according to how she is feeling herself, or if they're currently in use.
⁽⁰²⁾ : elf-like pointed ears that also move on their own according to how she feels, her sense of hearing is enhanced to a degree physically — making it easier to hear things that most normal people would not. her ears wiggle when she's happy or excited and droop much like her antennae when sad or disappointed.
⁽⁰³⁾ : a pair of wings that can be semi-reflective of color patterns in the surrounding vacinity or a sheer iridescent rainbow of colors depending. they rest nestled against her upper back and shoulders if covered by clothing which can be painful for long extended periods of time. usually, she has to cut holes in items of clothing bought for her or make sure that the clothing she wears has empty space in the back for the freedom of her wings. yes, they're big enough to fly with.
⁽⁰⁴⁾ : her sclera is an inky black much like most insects, however the actual color of her eyes changes depending on her mood. the resting color of her eyes is a brown-ish blue hazel color. her vision is also enhanced, as she is able to perfectly see within dark spaces as long as they aren't foggy or misty in some way. unlike humans and similar to nocturnal animals, mantis' eyes glow in the dark — or rather, reflect light back through the retina.
