Diaval finds your date location quite charming, he's not one to go to the grocery store himself (Rafiq and Lycaon go for the house. Rafiq basically drags Ly around the store and picks everything and Ly pays for it). Diaval thinks it's quaint to look at all the snacks humans like to eat. Actually, he gets really fucking distracted about it bc he wants to try a bunch of things. So uh, you're gonna have to wrangle him a little and please for the love of god do NOT give him a cart he will fill it up with the most heinous snacks you can imagine (I'm talking like flamin hot cheeto mac n cheese type abominations). Btw if you're not careful you're coming home with dorito taco shells. Seriously don't leave him unattended. He will literally swap them out.

Anyway, because you took him on this "fun excursion" he insists on helping you cook. He's okay at it, though he doesn't know what a spice is (he likes them, he just never bothered to learn spices in the human realm since everything is different). He really enjoys cooking with you, though. And he enjoys the food you make, of course. But he can't help picturing getting a place with just you, so you don't have to cook for the others in the mansion too. Call him selfish, but he really doesn't want to share you.
