“Not to be rude but you standing there is blocking my light.”

“Look. Don’t tell Glenda...but I think I’ve lost the kids again. We were supposed to go school supply shopping, I blinked, and they were gone. Have you seen them? Little carbon copies of me and my wife. Desperately need to locate them before she finds out.”

“Unless this is an important question I do not think it wise for you to bother me. Some of us are busy using this time off from school to do important things.”
“Has anyone seen a woman around here? She’s on the short side, long brown hair. Probably carrying a little four year old? It appears my wife and child have abandoned me in the shopping mall.” Beau said, an easy smile on his face. It wasn’t the first time Raphi had just walked off while Beau had been looking at something. She was a one track mind shopper, both a blessing and a curse some days. “Her name is Raphi. Although I doubt she’s told anyone that.”

“Not to be rude, but I’m not really that interested in your life story. I just want to check out and leave so that would be great. Thanks.”

“Okay. Look. I know, I know. It’s just a frog right now but in a couple years, if we feed it right, it could be a super frog. Like, hopping through the air and saving people kind of frog.”
“Okay. Look. I don’t like giving traffic tickets anymore than you like getting them but chasing me down in my off time to yell at me is a first class trip to a night in jail. I’m sure I can find a good enough reason.” Jace glowered at the squat little man in front of him as hard as he could before the man threw up his hands and stomped off. That had been a first. He turned and grumbled to himself. “People these days are so full of shit. The nerve of that guy!” He rubbed his temples. “What is the world coming to these days?”
