"You do?" Levi asked slowly, lifting his gaze to meet hers. She was standing on the porch and he on the ground, and from this angle, Hayley was almost three feet taller than him.
It was strangely symbolic; she was the bigger person here. Taller, stronger, more forgiving. Letting him back into her life when he'd done so much to ruin the chances he'd been given. Levi couldn't blame her for running out of rope, but she'd tied a knot and held on anyway. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, too, Hayley. There is nothing I want more, you know that. You and Teddy, you are the most important people in my life. I will never do anything to mess that up again."
