open starter - marine!luffy
Luffy grumbles under the weight of a literal mountain of paperwork, teetering to & fro with each step through the hallway of the Marine base. Seriously, he probably would’ve dumped all this on Coby or Helmeppo if the threat of Rear Admiral Hina kicking his ass wasn’t haunting the back of his mind like a damn ghost.
He’d rather be dealing with actual ghosts, though. They’re not scary like Luffy’s pink haired superior, after all. So here he is, lugging around stupid paperwork for stupid prisoners for stupid crimes when it’s already past his lunch break!! His stomach grumbles impatiently at the reminder.
“Uuuuugh. I swear I’m gonna staaaaarve!!!”
His fellow Marines ignore his whining as they walk by, aside from a few sympathetic smiles thrown Luffy’s way in solidarity. Fat lotta good that does him.
