MY RECOMMENDATION: I first read this fic when I first started reading fanfiction and it somehow stuck with me. A few days back, I stumbled on it again and reread it in one sitting. It made me remember just how rewarding reading a great fanfiction can be.
This is a story of overcoming your own walls, your own defences and allowing people in. It is a story about prejudice and how it can affect our lives when we live in fear.
It's absolutely perfect.
