The Hero's Journey episode, but Cas is there.
Whereas the boys have sudden bad luck, Cas is opposite. His bad luck is eased/blocked, and he's more competent than usual, but still hindered, especially by Dean and Sam's hilarious bad luck, that gets him captured alongside them.
Anyway, the monster gladiators' ring is enamored to have captured a legit, real-deal, old, beat-up Seraph, and want to have him in the ring full-time.
Dean is losing his shit. But whenever he tries to help, it winds up making things worse for Cas.
I love body-switching, shapeshifter, possession and alternate universe episodes/storylines of TV shows because its such a great way to see the actors/actresses be forced to completely change their styles to a whole new character, so you really get the chance to see their acting skill's range.
