Introducing: No Man's Land
No Mans Land was inspired by my original game called Ground Floor. In july 2011 I started a TAFE course doing an Advanced Diploma in information technology (Game Development), something I’ve wanted to do for years but never found available. Self teaching has been difficult for me but not when I have a goal which TAFE Assignments gave me.

During my first 6 months at TAFE I developed 3 different game ideas, for me Ground Floor gave me the most excitement and drive to create. This was mainly due to the fact that almost every teacher said it was too ambitious for the time frame and skill level expected. I laughed at their comments and remembered I’ve been programing since I was 5 years old, at 7 I was correcting my older brother, so I say ‘Challenge accepted!’ and I finished with most of my features.
On more recent news I’m currently developing the unreal script and kismet coding to get the game functional. This first post rather late in the development of the final for me, I’ve got the main powers for the characters programmed and working, possible tweaking needed to remove bugs and for game balance. Custom game type and characters developed to extend UTDeathMatch still need to override default victory conditions and achievements. Last week i started creating custom objects that link to each other so that they interact when some happens to others. This all I can think of right now, so until next week be scary and crazy!
