Azrael: Agent of the Bat #61 (2000)

just finished reading no man’s land. crazy crazy arc. i’m surprised that it isn’t talked about much anymore. it literally introduced cassandra cain and harley quinn to comics.

there’s some insanely good character work, and it really shows gotham city as a character rather than a city.

jim and bruce’s dynamic in this is written excellently, and jim gordon’s character arc as a whole is great (however there was no need for the fridging of a certain character).

this story has made me fall in love with 90s batman comics, the mythos was so big and lived in, and every character has great moments.

As I am tumbling down the rabbit hole of finding more and more working links to old Newsies websites, I wanted to share some of the ribbons I've come across! I don't know who made these ribbons originally, but so many sites displayed them or were used in signatures on the NML (I used a few myself in my sig). Here's a small collection I've come across! i enjoy how tims experience with the press ranges from everyone hating on young justice (albeit robin is a myth and nothing is directed towards him specifically) to jack campaigning to get him out of NML to literally faking an injury that requires him need crutches for a year
