I will take your words into account, however I must point out that I have seen no indication of mistrust or resentment from the good detective as a result of his pay cuts.  If anything, they have inspired him to do better at his job.  As they say, “Workers are worthy of their pay.”  If you doubt me, feel free to ask him about it yourself.

For that matter, I defy you to find anything that could put an end to his shameless adoration of me.  If you happened to succeed, it would be most appreciated.

On page 74, Chara says it’s time to pay Frisk a visit. Here are the speculations of how that visit will go down.

Chara should accept their facial hair, no matter how small it may be. Alas, that is not the case.

While they did not outright state it, Chara implies that they are very much aware of everything that happened in past reloads/resets by Frisk.

Dear au-lord,

I call them like I see them.  His hair was gray, and the wrinkles in his forehead made him look twice that old.  Plus he talked like someone from the Middle Ages.

That doesn’t mean I feel that way about my mom, though!  Leave her out of this!

Dear au-lord,

Cooking up medicine is out of my purview, but the Master Group has already begun preparing a new treatment for me.  If all goes well, I’ll soon be able to enjoy the saltiness of salt with the best of them.  I’ll be sure to keep your recommendations in mind!

Not only was I allowed to make my desserts while in prison -- my fellow prisoners insisted upon letting me work in the cafeteria as often as could be arranged.  You might say it became my day job!  Ho ho!

My release day was nothing less than a bittersweet end to it all.  My one hope is that they’ll remember what I taught them, from charity to chocolate recipes.

Dear au-lord,

Much appreciated.  Thank you for those kind words.

Most of the charges against Prosecutor Edgeworth were, as you surmised, based on nothing more than former Chairman Debeste’s desire to prevent him from discovering too much of the truth.  The only misdemeanor I could find him guilty of myself was his stubborn unwillingness to heed their warnings.

I wasn’t at liberty to act on my own judgment, of course.  I feared a swift end to his career, as well as the life of my adopted son.  I do not blame myself for what transpired...only for letting my emotions get the best of me at the worst possible moment.  Had I been stronger, it might have saved a lot of trouble for everyone involved.

But regardless of how it happened, I suppose all’s well that ends well, as they say.  I believe we’ve all come out of this ordeal stronger, wiser, and better prepared to serve the Goddess of Law, as well as those we protect in her name.

You’re talking about my backstory, aren’t you?  I suppose my memories are human constructs, much like I am, but they still matter to me.

Dear au-lord,

I appreciate your sentiments, but I am neither unfamiliar with negative criticism, nor ill-prepared to deal with it.  As a judge, it is my duty to seek approval from only one individual, namely the Goddess of Law.  Whether my judgement is met with approval or disdain from others, I must always trust it to be correct so long as it remains within legal boundaries.

I as well look forward to seeing Mr. Wright’s fabled defense with my own eyes someday.  His methods seem a bit unorthodox, but then again, I suppose there’s no such thing as an ordinary legend.

Dear Someone,

Your curiosity is both understandable and admirable.  Many others are eager to see the Holy Mother in the flesh, as well as the individual to whom she has chosen to impart her wisdom and power on this mortal plain.  It will be an unforgettable moment for every living creature, both within our country’s borders and beyond.

I cannot say for certain how or when this moment will arrive, however.  Had it already occurred, peace and wisdom would already reign supreme among the world’s peoples.  If our country’s legal revolution has served to teach us anything, it’s that we have a long journey ahead of us before Her Holiness can dwell among us.

The day will arrive soon enough, however, and when it does, all will indeed end well.  Until our nation has been purged of all injustice, we shall hold off on summoning the Holy Mother.  I, too, am hopeful to see it occur during my lifetime.
