For the ask game, protagonist, reluctant, and business man :3
⤷ Protagonist ⇢ Who is your main character, who is your hero? What are they the hero and protagonist of the story?
There truely is no single protagonist, it's better said as multiple stories that eventually collide and intertwine. So it's closer to a group of protagonists.
Charlie for sure, is one of them. Her primary story pieces take place within the fnaf 1, 2, and 3 timelines typically. She never saw her killer as the alleyway was too dark to see her father's face, but by god was she determined to slowly tear down the company bit by bit.
We also have Micheal, who I really haven't worked on as much and probably should try to.
Elizabeth as well, she's on a quest to find her father as mentioned in one of the previous ask game posts.
The we have William Afton himself. Framed for murder and traumatized by the ghostly victims of his best friend, he truely has no idea what's happening. Not until the Freddy & Friends fire does it all become clear. And thus another loop of terror awaits him in a hell he never truely deserved.

Vanessa was never actually reluctant to help William! She found him trapped and hopeless in a VR game. While she was very untrusting at first, her curiosity got the better of her. In Security Breach, Henry attempts to convince Vannessa (and Gregory) that William is lying and he was the bad guy all along. Unfortunately, the flames didn't leave her enough time to choose a side ;]
But for now I don't have a lot of info on her, just mostly her lore importance.

⤷ Business Man ⇢ What is your William Afton like? What is your inspiration for this villainous character?
Where do I start with this absolute emotional mess of a man. Literally on the brink of a mental breakdown 24/7 but can you really blame him?
He grew up with your typical loving family and even had an older sister named Cynthia! He's known Henry since they were kids (they lived down the street from eachother), because now the betrayal hurts so much more <3
William is typically quite energetic and even silly at times. You know, the kind of dad to crack shitty jokes and make his kids embarrassed! Despite his relatively bubbly personality he can be serious when the need arises. And unfortunately most of his joyous nature has been lost post-Fazbear-murders. Although, sometimes the old William shines through.
He's been through hell and back, and shows no signs of giving up until he knows for sure that Henry can't hurt anyone else ever again.
