Here we go, the last day in the mountains at #tdf2018. Today, some of our favourite climbs will be attacked by the worlds best riders. The Col d’Aspin, Col d’Aubisque, and the giant that rises higher than them all, the Col du Tourmalet. Al snel in mijn research stuitte ik op het Twitteraccount van David Guénel. Veel prachtige oude foto’s. Ondanks meerdere pogingen om met de Fransman in contact te komen, is me dat niet gelukt. Wel blijft hij prachtige foto’s plaatsen. Zoals onderstaande van 100 jaar en 1 dag geleden. Op de Aubisque was het niet voor elke renner een gegeven dat je even naar boven fietst.
