Cried a lot this week, not because I'm sad, but because seeing/watching/hearing/witnessing really happy things and other people's genuinely, unabashed joy activates a very specific part of my AuDHD brain that connects joy and tears. As a kid, it felt so embarrassing: now, I just kind of have to embrace it because it happens a few times a day, and that's okay. After all, it's pretty wonderful that I'm so much happier these days!
